Job Summary
As a Mechanical Site Manager, you will oversee the on-site execution of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Your responsibilities will include supervising site activities, coordinating with various stakeholders, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse sectors, including commercial, food & drink production, FMCG manufacturing, industrial, and R&D pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage all on-site mechanical activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor site progress, addressing any issues promptly to avoid delays.
Ensure the availability of materials and resources to meet project milestones.
Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, schedules, and health and safety documentation.
Foster a positive working environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among site staff.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Site Manager in mechanical engineering projects, preferably within the sectors mentioned.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including LPHW/MTHW/HTHW systems, steam and condensate services, and chilled water installations.
Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating collaboration with diverse teams and clients.
Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry.
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field are preferred.
