Job Summary
This is a high-profile leadership role within a well-established and growing business. The successful candidate will oversee multiple MEP projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
You will play a pivotal role in managing delivery teams, developing strong client relationships, and driving commercial success. This role also presents the opportunity to take ownership of the mechanical division within the Leeds office, providing strategic leadership and technical guidance.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Director and Senior Management Team and will be instrumental in developing and expanding the mechanical services offering within the Leeds business.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop the MEP design and project delivery teams.
Oversee multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.
Develop strong client relationships, focusing on delivering repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality assurance standards.
Manage financial performance, setting and tracking project budgets, profitability, and reporting to senior management.
Support the central estimating team on targeted bids and proposals.
Provide technical leadership and support to both internal teams and clients.
Play a key role in strategic decision-making to enhance the mechanical division and drive business growth.
Conduct staff appraisals, identifying training needs and implementing professional development plans.
Skills & Experience Required
Extensive experience in MEP Building Services design and project delivery, with a strong mechanical services background.
Proven experience leading and managing project delivery teams.
HND qualification in Building Services Engineering or equivalent (degree and Chartered Engineer status preferred).
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, drive profitability, and deliver financial targets.
Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, British Standards, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to foster and maintain long-term partnerships.
A strategic mindset, with the ability to drive innovation and business improvement.
