Job Summary
As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a vital role in the pre-construction phase, responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical services on a variety of high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates by analysing project specifications, drawings, and documentation.
Work closely with engineering, commercial, and project teams to develop comprehensive bids.
Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
Contribute to value engineering initiatives to optimise project costs while maintaining high standards.
Attend client meetings, tender reviews, and bid presentations to support business development efforts.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, material costs, and market trends.
Ensure estimates are completed within strict deadlines to support project success.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E, construction, or engineering sectors.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and industry standards.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities for supplier and client interactions.
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field are desirable.
