About the Company

Our client is a specialist Building Management Systems (BMS) and M&E contractor based in the North-West.

Over the last 25+ years, they’ve built a name for themselves across sectors like education, healthcare, commercial, and industrial. You’ve probably worked with a business like this before - quietly excellent, deeply respected, and often chosen for the toughest jobs because they just get it done.

Right now, they’re looking for a new M&E Managing Director. Not to overhaul things, but to take what’s already working and elevate it.

Key Responsibilities

You’ve got:

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Clear, confident leadership style

  • Real-world operational understanding (not just spreadsheets and slide decks)

  • Deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or BMS sectors

  • A calm, credible presence that earns trust from teams, clients, and stakeholders
